Students from more than 20 religious educational institutions from Russia and abroad are participating in the olympiad.

       The Olympiad includes three categories: Islamic Law, Fundamentals of Religion, and the Arabic Language. The tasks consist of written tests, and participants in the “Arabic Language” category also demonstrate oral proficiency.

       At the opening ceremony, welcoming remarks were delivered by Alexey Petrov, Deputy Director of the Fund for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education for Regional Project Coordination and Interaction with State Institutions.

       The Olympiad is organized by the Russian Islamic Institute with the support of the Fund for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education.
