About the Fund

The Fund for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education was established by centralized Muslim religious organizations with the assistance of the Domestic Policy Directorate of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation.

         The Fund facilitates the implementation of projects aimed at protecting the spiritual sovereignty of the Muslim community of Russia, developing new models of Muslim social integration, and supporting the revival of the national Islamic theological school.

         The Fund supports activities aimed at the development of Islamic culture, science, and education; the preservation of the traditional spiritual and moral values of Muslim peoples in Russia; the upbringing of children and youth; the prevention of Islamophobia; and countering extremism and terrorism.

Fund’s goals

  1. Support for statutory and project activities of Islamic religious and non-profit organizations, as well as Islamic educational institutions.
  2. Assistance in the training and retraining of personnel for Islamic educational and religious organizations, and the creation of conditions for the revival of the Russian Islamic theological school.
  3. Systematic counteraction to the spread of religious extremism and radicalism in the Russian Federation.
  4. Support for religious, educational, and other non-profit organizations in providing spiritual, moral, and patriotic education for children and youth, including through the revival of classical education, as well as support for Muslim educational funds and training and leisure centers.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                
  5. Promotion of the socialization of the Muslim community of Russia and support for Islamic research and educational centers, women’s religious clubs, and youth organizations.
  6. Support and implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening the prestige and role of the family in society and the state, reinforcing family values, and protecting motherhood and childhood.
  7. Implementation of material support programs for novice clergy, teachers, and students of Islamic educational institutions upon the recommendation of centralized Muslim religious organizations.
  8. Support for cultural philanthropy by bringing together active creative professionals who contribute to addressing religiously significant challenges and achieving sustainable social change. We create opportunities for new ideas and provide conditions for their implementation.
