An important guest of the event was Timur Zabirov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to the UAE.
The main outcome of the meeting was the signing of a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities and the Fund for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education.
The memorandum aims to develop bilateral relations between the two countries. The parties plan to conduct joint research, educational programs—including initiatives to strengthen the civic identity of Muslims—and international internships designed to facilitate the exchange of experience.
Currently, 20 students from Russian universities are studying at the Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities under an exchange program. The participants expressed hope for the successful development of the partnership in the future.
To implement these plans, a project roadmap was developed during the working visit, which will serve as a guideline for further actions.
